Using Drag & Drop functionality

 
There are 3 different type of Drag & Drop operations available within the Report Builder:
1.     Drag selected accounts from the Chart of Accounts Tree (left side)  and drop them in the Report Builder pane (right side).
2.     Drag selected group from the Account Groups grid (lower right) and drop them in the Report Builder pane (right side).
3.     Relocate accounts within the Report Builder pane (right side).
 
Procedure:
Adding accounts from the Chart of Accounts Tree
  • Select the desired accounts from the CoA by pressing the left button of the mouse and dragging up or down.
  • Release the mouse button for a moment and click again anywhere on the selected accounts.
  • Drag them over the Report Builder pane (right side) and drop them on the desired account by releasing the mouse button.
  • The accounts will be added as children of the selected targeted row.
 
 
Adding an Account Group
  • Select the desired row from the Account Groups grid (lower right)
  • Release the mouse button for a moment and click again on the selected row.
  • Drag the Account Group over the Report Builder pane (right side) and drop it on the desired account by releasing the mouse button.
  • The account group will be added as children of the selected targeted row.
 
 
 
Relocating accounts within the Report Builder
  • Select the desired accounts from the Report Builder pane pressing the left button of the mouse and dragging up or down.
  • Release the mouse button for a moment and click again anywhere on the selected accounts.
  • Drag selected accounts and drop them on the desired target account or label by releasing the mouse button.
  • The accounts will be relocated under the targeted row.
